UN Conference on Biodiversity: COP15 – Montreal, Canada

The 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is an international meeting that will bring together governments from around the world. Participants will set new targets and develop an action plan for nature for the next decade. The conference will be held from 7 to 19 December 2022 in Montreal, Quebec, home of the UN CBD Secretariat.

COP15 will focus on protecting nature and halting the loss of biodiversity around the world. The Government of Canada’s priority is to ensure that COP15 delivers the desired results for nature. International partners must urgently halt and reverse the alarming loss of biodiversity around the world.
