Research into the carbon, water and nitrogen functions of different types of canopy, with particular emphasis on photosynthesis in herbaceous species in semi-arid zones (AMMA), with the aim of documenting and identifying factors of variation.

Study of the potential of remote sensing observations to improve the simulations of this type of tool, and more specifically on the detection and monitoring of water stress, with the aim of testing the potential of innovative observations concerning different length ranges (optical, visible, thermal, radar), alone or in synergy, using field approaches (proxidetection).
