Main activities

Research activities related to desertification mainly concern Mediterranean ecosystems on both shores of the Mediterranean subject to global changes and in particular to climate change. The impact of anthropogenic pressures and climate change on ecosystem (forests, steppes) biodiversity and their functioning is studied with particular attention to the soil compartment.
