Social scientist with a PhD in environmental sciences, I develop my research on the analysis of social change occurring with the introduction of the principle of participation for integrated management of resources and territories. I have worked for the last 15 years in West Africa (including Burkina Faso, Senegal, Ghana) and in the Indian Ocean
Since 2011, my research work has focused in Burkina Faso and North-Ghana on supporting integrated water resources management policies by analyzing or developing participatory approaches to improve their implementation and encourage interactions between different levels of stakeholders - direct users, decentralized and deconcentrated administrations, local authorities, customary authorities, civil society actors, political decision-makers - at different scales (local, sub-basin and catchment area, region, and state).
I coordinated several projects or workpackages in several international development research calls for participation in the management of renewable natural resources.
