Soil Scientist, focusing on soil carbon dynamics in agrosystems, working at IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, France) within Joint Research Unit Eco&Sols (Functionnal ecology and biogeochemistry of soils and agrosystems)

IRD

Main activities

Main activity is to understand how soil organic carbon is stabilized in soils depending on soil type and on agrosystems. Recently, researches are developing on soil carbon stock vulnerability in the climate changes context. Researches focus on tropical, subtropical regions and more recently on drylands (mostly Northern and West Africa), due to their important vulnerability in the global changes context.
